Our Building Survey is our most popular service and the survey on which we have built our reputation.

A Building Survey, also known as a Level 3 Survey, is our most comprehensive inspection and report. It is designed to give you a detailed understanding of the property you are buying — not simply what defects are present, but what they mean for the property and what you should do about them.

It includes everything covered within our Home Survey, together with a more detailed assessment of the building, including:

• Detailed advice on defects, repairs and ongoing maintenance.
• An assessment of how the property has been constructed, the materials used and how these are likely to perform in the future.
• Consideration of potential vulnerabilities and defects which may not yet be readily visible.
• Testing of all accessible windows.
• Testing of accessible taps and showers.
• A drone inspection as standard, where weather and site conditions permit.
• Inspection of accessible sub-floor voids where safe access and sufficient space are available. Surveys are non-invasive, so floorboards are not lifted or cut.

The result is a detailed, property-specific report designed to give you a clear understanding of the building before you commit to your purchase.
